Located at the center of Handa plateau, this place is a "kakenagashi" purely natural hot spring that does not get heated or cooled with tap water. The yellow and cloudy hot spring water is good for the skin and can heal skin problems, burns, and joint pain. It is said that this hot spring is effective for diabetes, liver disease, gastrointestinal disorders when taken as drinkable hot spring water. Other than its excellent spring quality is, the surrounding scenery of the Kuju mountain range that can be enjoyed from the outdoor bath is the biggest attraction of this place. From the spacious bathtub, you can see the white smoke of Mt. Io rising up and the plateau where lush green grass field extends.
