Omura Masujiro, a Western scholar born in Choshu, left a legacy as the "Father" of the Imperial Japanese Armyin the Meiji Era. One of the public open-air baths sprawling in Amagase Onsen "Masujiro Hot Spring" ,is named after him, known as Yukari no Yu that was once used by Omura Masujiro. The bathing room has a simple vinyl sheet enclosure so it is not visible from the river. The unique bathtub is made of concrete, and the cloudy fountain color and the surrounding landscape make the atmosphere feels relaxing. You can use the main bath if you have a small tattoo.
