【Bamboo craft】
"Beppu City Traditional Bamboo Crafts Center"

It is a facility exhibiting a number of works with a detailed explanation of the history and techniques of bamboo work in Beppu city, precise and elegant individuality.
You can experience making bamboo crafts inside the facility.

【Hell-steaming】
"JODEKIYA"

It is steamed dish utilizing the steam of hot springs. It is a traditional cooking method transmitted from old days to bring out the taste of the material.
Since the cooking method doesn't need any oil and uses natural steam, you can enjoy a healthy meal, also it is very ecologal way.

【Traditional seasoning workshop】
"Kojiya"

You can make Japanese traditional seasonings such as miso and "Amazake" etc. at workshops using koji.

【1-day sightseeing bus】
"Kunisaki Peninsula"

You can visit a historic temple and shrine scattered around the naturally rich Kunisaki Peninsula.
It is a must see Usa Jingu Shrine of National Treasures and Fukiji Temple and huge figures of Buddha is culpted in natural rocks.
