Tashibu no Shou
Address2132-1 Tashibuosaki, Bungotakada City, Oita Prefecture

Tashibu no Shou initially served as one of the Usa Jingu manors.
The surrounding settlement and rice fields have been relatively untouched since the 11th century, successfully preserving the authentic scenery of a prototypical Middle Age manor settlement in Japan. Designated as an Important Cultural Landscape of Japan in 2010, the property was then selected as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems in 2013.
It is also a known scenic spot in the month of June for viewing the many fireflies that flock to the old estate plot.
